01 · The vault

Every market keeps its reserve in a vault of its own.

One contract per market, holding tokenized stock. Not the team's wallet, not a pooled treasury.

02 · Locked by code

No key opens it for the team.

No admin role can withdraw B or Q. The rules a market launches with are the rules it keeps.

03 · Open to everyone

Anyone can look inside, any time.

Balances live on Ethereum. The reserve page reads them straight from the chain, not from us.

04 · Two reserves

B backs the rate. Q pays the curve.

B backs every token at the redemption rate and never falls. Q funds the premium paid on sales back into the curve.

05 · Redemption

Burn tokens, take the stock.

Redeeming burns your tokens and pays you from B, in the reserve asset, at the published rate.

06 · Verify

Check any vault yourself.

How a market holds value

Two reserves. One supply. Every number on-chain.

B backs every outstanding token at the redemption rate. Q funds the premium paid on sales back into the curve. Watch what each operation does to them.

On the ledger

Markets, each with a reserve of its own.

A launch's vault backs only its own token. Nothing here is pooled with another market, with EQU, or with the team.

Fees

A one percent fee, split four ways, written into the hook.

Fees are charged in the reserve asset on canonical Equipad trades. Ordinary transfers carry no tax, and the split of an existing market cannot be changed.

Sell fees come out of the premium

A curve sale never pays less than the base share of the reserve, before gas.

Redemption has no Equipad fee

Burning for the reserve asset pays the redemption rate in full.

EQU discounts cut only the protocol share

Locking EQU never reduces the creator fee or the share added to B.

Enforced by the contracts

The reserve is not a pool anyone can withdraw.

A market's financial logic is fixed at launch. Multisig and timelock powers cover infrastructure, not the right to take B or Q.

Actions the contracts reject

  1. 01Minting without full payment of the base and the premium
  2. 02Withdrawing B or Q to the treasury or to the creator
  3. 03Covering one market's shortfall with another market's funds
  4. 04Lending, leverage or yield strategies on reserves
  5. 05Lowering the redemption rate or changing a live market's curve
  6. 06Arbitrary external calls on behalf of a vault
  7. 07Counting the same asset as both a fee and backing

Reserve pages re-read the vault balance, B, Q and supply straight from the chain and compare them with the index, so you are not asked to trust our server.

Printed on the back

The contract pays when its conditions are met.

It does not promise an exit at any second, a USD floor, or that a token cannot lose value.

§1
Denominated in the reserve asset
Redemption pays units of the reserve token, such as NVDAon. It is not a dollar amount and does not guarantee recovery of what you paid.
§2
The premium is not returned on redemption
Buyers can pay well above the redemption rate. Redeeming instead of selling gives that premium up, except on the final full exit.
§3
Market and issuer risk remain
A falling stock price, a discount on the tokenized version, issuer restrictions and smart-contract defects are all real risks.
§4
Pauses are public and specific
Buying or the curve can be paused without blocking redemption. Redemption itself pauses only for a critical fault, a short reserve or a transfer that cannot be made, with the reason recorded on-chain.
§5
Exposure, not title
Tokenized stocks give economic exposure rather than ownership of shares. Issuer eligibility and jurisdiction rules still apply to the reserve asset.
§6
What Equipad is not
Not a broker, no leverage, no synthetic stock. This is a proposed protocol and it has not been audited.

For creators

Choose a stock. Name a token. Publish the rules.

You pick the reserve asset, supply cap and starting rate from approved templates. You earn 30% of trading fees and never hold the reserve.
